NUTELLA CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

yesterday, a friend and i were bored, so we decided to bake some cookies before starting our movie marathon. a delicious idea, i must say.

heavenly.

how to? after the jump!

{adapted from Kirbie's Cravings}

ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup melted
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup Nutella
1 cup chocolate chips
directions:
1. preheat oven to 375 degrees and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
2. whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium sized bowl.
3. in a separate bowl cream the butter,  sugar, and brown sugar using an electric mixer or large wooden spoon. add the eggs and vanilla and mix on medium speed or continue to stir until mixture is smooth.
4. add the flour mixture on low speed or a little at a time until mixture is combined.
5. mix in the chocolate chips until they are about evenly spread throughout the mixture. add nutella and mix until combined to your preference {if you want a ribbony effect, do not over-mix}.
6. scoop 1-inch tablespoons of dough and drop onto baking sheets.
7. bake for about 8-10 minutes.  remove cookies from tray and cool for 10 minutes {although i couldn't wait and started eating them after 2 minutes...}
